This Privacy Policy describes how Imautotech ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the WxGamepad application ("the App"). WxGamepad turns your phone into a wireless controller for your computer. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
Account Sign-In Data
WxGamepad lets you create an account using email, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple so your settings and subscription can follow you across devices. When you sign in, we receive:
- Basic profile information — your name and, where provided, profile picture
- Email address — used as your account identifier and for important service updates
- A unique user ID — so we can recognise your account on subsequent sign-ins
For Google we request only the minimum scopes required for sign-in (openid, profile, email). You can revoke access at any time.
Gameplay Connection Data
When you connect to your computer, the App communicates directly with the WxGamepad Server over your local network (Wi-Fi). Your control inputs are sent to your own computer on your own network — they are not routed through or stored on our servers.
Subscription & Purchase Data
Optional premium features are sold as in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by the app store (Google Play or the App Store) and managed via RevenueCat, which receives your purchase history and an anonymous user ID to validate entitlements. We never receive or store your full payment-card details.
Advertising Data
We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use your advertising ID, device information, and interaction data to deliver ads. On iOS, ads are only personalised with your permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Information obtained through account Sign-In is never used to serve or personalise advertisements. Device, Usage & Diagnostics
We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how the App is used and to diagnose problems. This may include device model, OS version, app version, crash reports, and feature-usage events.
Limited Use of Google User Data
WxGamepad's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information received from Google APIs is used only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the App. We do not:
- Sell, rent, or transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising or other unrelated purposes
- Use Google user data for serving advertisements, including personalised or interest-based ads
- Allow humans to read Google user data, except with your explicit consent, for security or legal reasons, or where aggregated and anonymised
- Use Google user data to train generalised or non-personalised machine-learning or AI models
How to Revoke Access & Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your account and the data we hold from inside the App: open Settings → Delete Account. You may also:
- Revoke Google access at myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Manage Sign in with Apple at Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple on your device
- Email us at support@imautotech.in to request deletion
Permissions We Require
Camera
Used to scan the QR code shown by the WxGamepad Server so the App can connect to your computer. The camera is only active on the scan screen.
Local Network
Used to discover and connect to the WxGamepad Server running on your computer over your Wi-Fi network, and to send your control inputs to it.
Motion & Sensors
Used by optional gyro/tilt controls to translate your phone's movement into joystick or key input. Motion data stays on your device and your local network.
Internet
Required for sign-in, in-app purchases, serving advertisements via AdMob, and sending analytics and crash diagnostics. Gameplay control runs over your local network, not the internet.

Data Retention & Security
We retain account data only for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the service, and delete it on request. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will appear on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
